NEW BANKING HOURS
Little public inconvenience appeared to result from the new banking nours, introduced by the Banking Emergency Regulations, 1942, which were observed for the first time in Auckland yesterday. Banks closed at 2 p.m., havint> opened at 10 a.m., and the public appeared to adapt itself well to the new hours, although a few people arrived late at one Queen Street bank.
