WOMAN'S SMALL BABY

(Reed. 5.35 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 7 Mrs. Jean McAuley, of Airdrie, Lanarkshire, lias given birth to a four and a-half months premature baby girl. The child weighed 13 ounces and was eight inches long. The doctors did not believe the baby would live for more than a few days. She was first fed on four drops of milk and four drops of distilled water every two hours. This was found to be too much and the period was extended to four hours. The child is now fed from an ordinary bottle and has gained seven ounces and is thriving. The_ child is Mrs. McAuley's twentieth.
