PETROL RESTRICTIONS
Sir, —Before the restrictions on petrol were entirely enforced, mapy motorists rushed in and got all the petrol they were entitled to on their licence, and also used up December and January coupons. Their cars cannot be in a bad way, as they received their January quota, and this is only the beginning of February. In fairness, the Government should allow all travellers, carriers and motorists who were unfortunate not to have got in with the crowd the balance remaining on-licence, and be able to redeem 11, 12 and 13 coupons. Then we will all be able to start from scratch. The petrol users who studied the Government and only bought as required got it properly in the neck by so doing. I hope the Government will see its way to be at least fair. Injustice.
