ASSAULT CHARGES
Three charges of indecent assault on young girls were admitted by a labourer, Charles Aubrey Whitcombe, aged 65 (Mr. Aekins), before Mr. F. H. Levien, S.M., yesterday. Accused was committed to the Supreme Court for*sentence. A motor mechanic, Leslie Bartleet, aged 55, who pleaded guilty to a charge of indecently assaulting a male, also was committed for sentence.
