PEAR BOYS AND GIRLS, — HOW the days are flying! Here we are in December, with exams, nearly finished and Christmas only a few weeks away. Oh, what fun to dream of lovely Summer holidays long idle hours on the seashore or up in t T,e high hi:ls Blue skies and sunshine and all that makes one feel that life i* good. You know, boys and girls, I think sometimes we do grow discontented. Remember when we were very wee we wished we had a bicycle, and then when we were twelve or so we were given one and we wanted something bigger and better? So it goes on—wanting and wishing all the time when really we should be thinking about other people's wants and wishes. Let's be content this year with whatever kind of holiday Mummy or Daddy has to suggest. It may be a trip to the beach, or just a quiet holiday at home, j, ul whatever it is, wherever we spend it, let's make the best of it, for after g ]l what a welcome change it is from school work and lesson books! We'll laugh and sing and lend a helping hand when we can this Christmas.
