DEATH OF MAORI
TWO MEN CHARGED Two Maoris, Henry Matthews and Phillip Matthews, were jointly charged before Mr. J. Morling, S.M., yesterday with having unlawfully killed a Maori, David Repia, on November 23, thereby committing manslaughter. A third Maori, Harry Matthews, was charged with fighting in Nelson Street with sonic persons unknown. All three accused were remanded until December 8. hail being allowed Harry and Phillip Matthews.
