FRANKTON STOCK SALE FIRM RATES MAINTAINED (0.C.) HAMILTON, Tuesday A full yarding of fat sheep came forward at the Frankton stock sale to-clay, and values for wether mutton were slightly easier. Ewe mutton was firm. A good entry of fat lambs sold readily. There was a large yarding of cattle with values firm. Medium prime bullocks made to £l3 14s. SPECIAL CATTLE FAIR j The Farmers' Auctioneering Company re- 1 ports having held a special store cattle fair at Morrinsville on Monday, when over 1400 head of station-bred cattle wore yarded. The entry included many , pens of good quality, srrown bullocks and a large bench of buyers from all parts of the district operated -freely. An excellent inquiry existed for female cattle, consignment offerings of both empty cows and two and three-year-heifers from Gisborne and Tokomaru Bay districts being keenly competed for at late rates.
