ARMY SERVICE APPELLANTS * FIXING THE BASIC RATE (0.C.) WELLINGTON, Sunday An announcement that the three special tribunals appointed to investigate the financial position of men. whose appeals against military service had been allowed by the armed forces appeal boards would begin their sittings shortly, has been made by the Minister of National Service, the Hon. R. Semple. He said it was intended that such men should be left, in a financial position no better than they would enjoy as soldiers.
