HARD COURT COMPETITIONS The Auckland Lawn Tennis Association's hard-court- competitions _ were continued on Saturday at the Windmill Road courts. Following were the results:— First Grade. —Campbell Park v. Hally* burton-Johnstone (Campbell Park names first> —Singles: D. Kelly lost to W. Huckstcp, 4 —o, Miss C. O'Sullivan beat Miss P. Crookbain <>—s, 6 —2. Men's doubles: R. Gribble and H. R. Harris beat W. R. Rod we 11 and A. Huckstep, 4—6, 6—2, G—o. Ladies' doubles: Mrs. J. J. Nicoll and Miss Mavo lost to Mrs. R. Rose and Mrs. A. Clarke 3—6. 2—6; Miss O'Sullivan and Mrs \danis lost to Mrs. Fenton and Miss Cronkbain. 3 —(>. o—t, 5—6. Combined doubles: Mrs. Nicoli and Gribble beat Mrs. Rose and A. Huckstep, 6 —1,, 6—3; Mis 3 Mavo and Harris lost to Mrs. Clarken and W ' E. Rod well, •! 6, 5—6; Mrs. Adams and I) Kellv defaulted to Mrs. Fenton and \V. Huckstep. Hallyburton-Johnstone won by 5 matches to •'!. Second Grade.—West End beat Hally-burton-Johnstone by fi matches to 1. Fifth Grade. —Nicholson Park beat Mount Roskill No. I by 11 matches to 5.
