BRITISH SUBMARINES ENEMY AERODROME SHELLED (Rorrl. 5.'» p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 22 An Admiralty communique states that further successful action against enemy supply lines has been reported by Admiral Sir Andrew Cunningham, Commander-in-Chief of tho Mediterranean Fleet. A heavily escorted convoy was attacked by one submarine. Two supply ships were hit by torpedoes and one of them is known to have been sunk. Another submarine bombarded tho aerodrome at Appolonia, in Cyrenaica, in the lace of gunfire from shore defences, and secured several hits on hangars and other buildings.
