COURT-MARTIAL SENTENCE A sentence of reduction in rank to corporal has been imposed upon StaffSergeant Alfred Oswald Duncan, New Zealand Temporary Staff, who was charged before an army court-martial at Avondale last week with conduct to the prejudice of good order and military discipline, in that he had improperly used an army vehicle and petrol lor private purposes and, through being involved in an accident, causing damage to the extent of about £35. Accused was found guilty, and the sentence was promulgated yesterday after being confirmed by the officer convening the court, Brigadier P. H. Bell, D.S.O.
