MILK DELIVERY

NO EARLY START YET Auckland milk roundsmen again disregarded the order of the Minister of Labour, the Hon. P. C. Webb, that the delivery of niik should commence daily at 2 a.m., and no start was made until 3 a.m. yesterday. The order became operative on Wednesday, but Mr. .T. Pur-tell, secretary of tho Milk Roundsmen's Union, said yesterday that the men would continue to start at 3 a.m. unless the Minister and the employers would agree to a start at 2.30 a.m., a front gate delivery, and the same gallotiage.

A meeting of the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Council this morning will consider a letter from Mr. Webb regarding his order.
