LATE MRS. MOSS DAVIS

A motion expressing regret at the death in London ot' Mrs. Moss Davis and sympathy with Sir Ernest Davis and other members of her family _ was adopted bv the City Council last night. The Mayor, Mr. J. A. C. Allum, said Mrs. Davis had played a notable part in Auckland's social and charitable activities many years ago. He had already sent a message of sympathy to Sir Ernest Davis, and had cabled to Miss Blanche Davis in London.
