NO RATE REMISSION
An earlier decision to cease remitting rates on llohson Park, the sports ground in Market Jtoad, Memuera, owned by the Dilworth Trust Board and leased by the Auckland Hockey Association, was reaffirmed bv the City Council last night. Jt was stated that the current, year's rates, which were payable by the association, amounted to L'J f>2.
A request by the Parnell Lawn Tennis Club for a reduction in its rates, amounting to £'67 this year, was refused.
