EMERGENCY SCHEME
A former town clerk, Mr. H. A. Yockney, was appointed at a special meeting of the Onehunga Borough Council last night to the positions of deputy-district warden of the E.P.S.O. and secretary of the local patriotic society. Mr. Yocknev will commence duties 011 October 28.
