FAILED TO PARADE

YOUTH FINED £lO A charge of failing to attend a Territorial Force parade was admitted by Samuel Herbert Jury, aged L'o. motor mechanic, in the Otahulm Police Court yesterday. Defendant did not appear and the magistrate, Mr. J. Morling, issued a warrant for his arrest. Defendant was taken from his employment and brought before the Court. It was stated defendant had completed his three months' training in camp, but had refused to attend further parades. Defendant said he had nothing to say. He made a similar reply when asked if he was now prepared to attend parades. A fine of £lO and 10s costs was imposed, defendant being allowed 14 days in which to pay.
