Mr. F. G. Farrell travelled to 1 almerston Isorth by air. yesterday. Mr. C. F. Bennett and Mr. J. Stanton left last night for Wellington to give evidence in connection with the Auckland Community Health Centre Bill, now before the House of Representatives. Dr. C. H. Kellaway, director of the Hall Medical Research Institute. Melbourne. left by the Honolulu Clipper yesterday morning" for the United States and Britain on a special medical research mission for the Australian Government. Mr. B. F5. M. Pickering," formerly a member of the staff of the Education Department, has been appointed assistant secretary of the New Zealand Educational Institute and editor of National Education. He fills the vacancy cau-ed by the resignation of Mr. E. S. Andrews.
