PATRIOTIC WORKERS
PARNELL WOMEN'S GROUP MRS. DREAVER HONOURED Members of the Panoell Patriotic Women's Group met yesterday at the home of Mrs. E. R. Turner. Parnell Road, to honour their convener, Mrs. M. M. Dreaver, on her election to Par-
liament. Another guest of honour was the Mayoress, Mrs.'J. A. C. Allum. who spoke of Mrs. Dreaver's long association with public work, and said how fitted she was to represent the women and children of New Zealand. hi reply, Mrs. Dreaver said there was much work to he done both in the rehabilitation of men of the fighting services and in post-war reconstruction. Mrs. Turner, who welcomed the guests, suggested that the minutes of the Parnell Patriotic Women's Group should record the members' pride and pleasure in Mrs. Dreaver's success.
