REMAINDER OF SESSION NO MEETING ON TUES.DAYS 'S-'O WELLINGTON, Thursday for the remainder of the present session the House of Representatives will .sit on 'Wednesday, Thursday and 1' riday only each week. This decision was announced to-night by the actingPrime .Minister, the Hon. W. Nash, who said the suggestion had been made to him by the Leader of the Opposition, Mr. S. G. Holland. Mr. Nash asked the House yesterday to agree to the adjournment being taken on Thursday night until Tuesday, so that the War Cabinet would have more time for its deliberations, but he sajd in the House to-night that Mr. Holland had asked that the alteration should be made to .suit the convenience of South Island members. However, the House would not sit to-morrow, but would adjourn until
1.-JO p.m. on Wednesday, Mr. Nash idded. Bills would be introduced next reek, including land and income tax nd river control measures. The House adjourned at 9.30 o'clock.
