CHINA MISSION
At n meeting of tlic Auckland section of the China Inland Mission in the Baptist Tabernacle last night a presentation was made to Mrs. J. Chadwick Brown, for many years secretary of the mission in Auckland, who has retired. The chairman of the New Zealand Council of the mission, Mr. S. Barry, presented Mrs. Chadwick Brown with an inscribed New Testament and Psalms, a bedroom clock and a cheque. Three Auckland missionaries, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. E. Knight and Mr. H. Haines, who will leave shortly for China, via the Burma Road, were farewelled.
