SHEEP WORRYING
Sir, —I think it is high time the Government did something to protect the sheep farmers from losses caused by raiding dogs. I have just had 14 destroyed and one badly bitten, which I don't expect will recover. Most of the worrying is done at night. The shooting season is also a bad time for the sheep. I suggest as a remedy that all dogs should be fastened up at night and a fund created to compensate for losses in cases where the ownership of the dogs cannot be proved. Sheep Farmer.
