LOST FOR 120 YEARS
In England seventeen borough charters, lost for 120 years, were, found in a rusted safe at Huntingdon after a long seaich by Mr. P. G. M. Dickinson, a Fellow of the Royal Archaeological Society. A charter dated 1207 reveals that Huntingdon is an older borough than Godmanchester, its neighbour across the river, which has a King John charter of 1213.
