PUKEKOHE MAYORALTY
MR. M. R. GRIERSON ELECTED FOUR CANDIDATES FOR POST (0.C.) PUKEKOHE, Wednesday The poll taken to-day to elect the Mayor of the Borough of Pukekohe in succession to the late Mr. John Routly resulted in the return of Mr. M. R. Grierson. The voting was as follows:—Mr. Grierson, 511; Mr. G. T. Parvirt, 311; Mr. A. F. Brown, 162; Mr. F. W, Stem bridge, 108. Mr. Grierson was first elected to the council on May 17. He was horn in Auckland and educated at the Auckland Grammar School and Auckland University College. He is in practice as a solicitor in Pukekohe.
