Sir, —My first reaction to the .statement made by Canon Coats was identical with that of "K.K " But perhaps Canon Coats forgets how time marches on. lie must, have been thinking of f>o years ago. Xi>t. only in the lust war hut in this war too tile women of years ago are taking the lead, and it mothers can do it of course their daughters will not lie anything hut their mothers' daughters.
