MILLHAND'S OFFENCES "You said you would go out of town if I let you off the other day, and 1 promised to give you three months if you did not go. You have broken your promise, but 1 am not going to break mine," said Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M.. in the Police Court yesterday, when Joseph Vance Viscoe, aged 48, millhand, was charged with assaulting Frederick Springfield on May 7. Accused was also brought up for sentence on four charges of theft of articles valued at 23s .'id from several shops. Accused was sentenced to three months' imprisonment on one of the theft charges, and convicted and discharged on the other counts.
