BUILT IN TWO DAYS
HOUSE FOR A FAMILY SYDN'KY, May 17 Voluntary workmen at Matraville yesterday completed :i four-room wood and asbestos hoiisi> lor an unemployed and homeless labourer and his family. The house took two days to build. Miss Klsio Cony, of Raudwick, said thai- she heard oi the distress of the man and his family two weeks ago. "At the time Ihe man, his wife and four children wore crammed in a small room, lor which they paid a few shillings," she said. "I remembered that about I'2 months ago some workmen had ollered to help me if I ever needed them. I got in touch wit h Ibe men, ami I- of them agreed to spend their Saturdays building Ibis house to give to the family. The money for materials was collected in the district. ''The first Saturday, the men arrived at 7 a.m. and by nightfall had erected the frame of the house. To-night everything will be finished and the family i can move in,"
