ELECTIONS IN PROVINCE Elections for tho appointment of a producer member to represent the Auckland Province on the New Zealand Poultry Board are being held throughout the province and will bo*
continued during next week in various towns and districts. The candidates are the sitting member. Mr. A. E. Knowles, and Mr. A. G. Frankham. Election meetings at which registered poultrykeepers ivili record their votes will be held at Avondale next Thursday and at Albany and Birkenhead next Friday. A meeting was held at Papatoetoe last night. I'he Poultry Board consists of six members, two producers from each of the North and South Islands and two representatives appointed by the Government. Tho term of office is two years.
