PHEASANT SHOOTING
MINISTER'S SATISFACTION (0.C.) ROTORUA, Thursday Pleasure at the wide distribution of pheasants in the Koto run and Taupo districts was expressed by the Minister of Internal A H air- , the Hon. W. E. Parry, before his departure for Auckland after his annual shooting holiday at Rotorun. The Minister said he could not remember any other time when lie had seen so few parts of the district where there was not a reasonable chance of putting up a bird. He considered that this was due to the policy followed by the department in the liberation from the State game farm at Ngongotaha.
