KINVARA GOES WELL FOXOLA FINISHES STRONGLY SACCONE AND THE DOZER FIT A good six furlongs hv lAixola and Gold Money Song ami a solid seven by Kinvara were features of the work at Tuknnini yesterday. Others to go well were Saccono, The Dozer, Biddy Girl and Tellsom. Most of tlie gallops were executed on the inside grass track, on which the polos were out S l'eet and the going was excellent.
Cold Money Song (McMinn) got a lireak on Foxola (Wiggins) at the start, toil she finished attractively to lie within a length of him at the end id' six furlongs in 1.1 Coxola lias done well since running third al I'ukekohe, and should lie very haril to beat at T< !!it|ia. Cold Money Song lacks recent racing, having been off the scene since early in J aiinary.
Kinvara (Cray) ran away from Surpai (McFarlane) over the eoiielmlim: stages of seven furlongs run in 1.. 20, the last six in 1 .Hi. Arvaktir (Smith) and Cornish (Hooton) were associated over six I'urlougs in .1.18 2-5, neither being asked for his best. Lovaals (Jackson) strode over six furlongs in 1.1 IS Tellsom illooton) was not extended while running six furlongs in 1.20 0-5. The Dozer (Beguely) was sent a mile and a quarter, the pace being on over the last mile in 1.11 0,5. lie has been working very stylishly.
Biddy Cirl (Pet ley) displayed dash in reeling off three furlongs in ;;u •_'-ss. She bears a very bright appearance, and should soon be seen to advantage. Poker Dice (Coleman) ran four furlongs in 51 :S-ss. Xordie Song (Petley) recorded one of his liest efforts by running four furlongs in 50 0-ss. Mysito (Jackson) and Sealaw (Home) were going well at the end of five furlongs in 1.:; 2-5. Watchett (Bond), Foxlore (Smith), King's Cross (Quedley) and Miss Dignity (Burgess) were sent out for a perfect despatch from the barrier, the line being unbroken until Miss Dignity dropped out' after traversing a furlong. Watehett finished just in front of Foxlore. with King's Cross right up after eoniiileting four furlongs in 50s. These novices have been shaping encouragingly. On the plough. Saecone ' Wood! worked over a round, sprinting the last three furlongs in 0-ss. Saecone. who will eoinpele at Te I'apa, has rarely looked belter. After the Te l!apa meeting, there is every likelihood of his being taken to Eilerslie for schooling over the steeplechase fences, and if lie pleases the chances of his contesting the double will be more than a possibility. First Edition (Burgess) and Sea Eaglet (McNeil*) sprinted the last two furlongs of their work in 20s, First Edition lias made good progress since being taken in hand, and is shaping very well. He is by Kincardine from Sunny Sky. Pa lust re has been retired and is to be mated with Foxbridge. Pa lustre holds the distinction of being one of four sprinters who have been successful in breaking 1.t.2 for six furlongs at Eilerslie. Elise, who was formerly trained at .Eilerslie. is now under the care of H. E. Cray.
