HURDLEY APPEAL CASE (().(.'.) WELLINGTON, Saturday Alter hearing legal argument throughout the week, the Court of Appeal reserved judgment- in the Hurdjey ease. The appeal was against a judgment of Mi. Justice Johnston in Wellington on November '27 on a misfeasance summons taken out under the Companies Act. by .John I'rancis Pvni S'( J atrnati. Wellington, present liquidator of J. K. lliiidley and Son. Limited, against All'rew Llewellyn Hurdley. Wellington, and William Andrew Hurdlev, Auckland, two directors of the company, and Frederick George Dunn, accountant, ('hristchurch. _ Sums amounting to £lO 000 were claimed. Mr. Justice Johnston acquitted defendants and dismissed the summons. Tlio appeal was made hv Yeatman against some of the findings of Mr. Justice Johnston.
