PLAQUE UNVEILED
LATE 'REV. A. 0. LAWRY Tributes were paid to the late Eer. Albert 0. Lawry, who died in Juno of last year, when a plate to his memory was unveiled by his daughter, Miss Gwendoline Lawry, or Christchurch, at the Methodist conference in the Pitt Street Methodist Church yesterday. The plaque is placed immediately below one dedicated to Mr. Lawry's grandfather, the Rev. Walter Lawry, -.vho died in ]B-59 and his father, the Key. H. H. Lawrv, whose death occurred in 1906. "The Rev. A. C. Lawry was one of the great men that God gave to our Church," said the Conference president, the Rev. W. A. B uric v. "It was his humanity that made him great. Ho was dignified and sympathetic and his memory will always bo respected."
