CLIPPER FROM AMERICA RETURN FLIGHT TO-DAY Carrying nine passengers, tho California Clipper, commanded by Captain \Y. A. Clutlie. reached Auckland from Noumea at 3.30 p.m. yesterday to complete a routine journey from San Francisco. The trip from Noumea was uneventful. The Clipper will leave on the return to America at 7.30 this morning. The passengers who arrived yesterday included:—.Mr. David Ben-Gurion, Mr. and Mrs. G. P. Dyer, Captain J. J. Grunborg. Mr. M. Rubin, Mr. E. Sacharov, Mr. W. 15. Schlietcr and Mr. 1!. A. Simmonds. Nearly 20 passengers will leave in the Clipper this morning. TASMAN CROSSING AWARUA LEAVES TO-DAY Under the command of Captain 0. Garden, the flying-boat Awarua will leave at six o'clock this morning for Sydney. In addition to passengers, the Awarua will carry 9681b. of mail and 0-112!b. of freight. The living-boat will return to Auckland to-morrow. Tho passengers for Sydney include the following:—Hon. Sir Charles Marr, Messrs. S. J. Mac Gibbon, M. Rubins, J. (Jrunberg, W. 1!. Schleiter, I). B. Gurion, E. Sacharov and C. McNiven.
