MORRINSVILLE PRICES MEDIUM SHEEP YARDING [from our own correspondent] MORRINSVILLE, Saturday There was a medium yarding of fat sheep sold at the Morrinsvillo sale today, and a full entry of breeding ewes included lines from Gisborne and east coast districts. The demand for twotooths was stronger than last week, due to the improved quality of the yarding, very largo numbers of good quality twotooths being penned. An entry of Gisborne cattle came forward in good order and created keen interest. Over a good entry of cow beef, together with a full yarding of boner cows and potter bulls, lato rates were fully maintained. A largo yarding of all classes of pigs, with competition for baconers and porkers steady, values remaining fully up to last week's quotations. Choppers again sold well, while store and weaner pigs showed a slight increase on last week's prices. The auctioneers were: Newton King, Limited, G. W. Vercoe and Company, Wright, Stephenson and Company. Top price in the sale of flock Southdowns was secured b.v Mr. C. J. Hawken, of Hawera, at 14%gns, the majority of the vendors' consignment realising double figures, the range being from Mr. W. Harbutt, of Cam- i bridge, secured IP/igns for two excellent sheep, many of the vendors' offering also making doublo figures. Top price for stud Southdowns was secured b.v Mr. 0. R.
