WOMAN BEFORE COURT On charges of stealing two shirts, a salt and a pepper pot and a. tablecloth, of a total value of £1 ISs Sd, from shops at Devonport, Alicia Kathcrino Whyte, domestic. aged (Mr. appeared before Mr. F. 11. I,evict). 5..M.. in the Police Court yesterday. Accused pleaded guilty to all three charges. It was contended by counsel that accused had only been the tool of two other women who had accompanied her, but who later denied anv connection with the thefts. It was her first offence. Accused was convicted and ordeiou to come up for sentence if called upon within 12 months.
