HIGH LAMBING FIGURES
[by telegraph—own correspondent] GREYMOtTTH, Friday With a percentage of 114.3 lambs the County of Westland this season led the Dominion in lambing. The next district was Taranaki, with 113.38. The high figure is attributed by the stock inspector at Greymouth. Mr. ,T. Fleming. to the comparatively mild winter last year and the favourable weather experienced during the lambing period.
