SHIFTING OF STEEL CARGO SOME SURVIVORS LANDED (Received January 10, 10.30 t>.nO MONTREAL, Jan. 10 Survivors from the foundered Netherlands freighter Soemba. who have reached a Canadian port, said their vessel sank in the North Atlantic ten minutes after the steel cargo had shifted in a heavy sea. Twentv-five survivors from the crew of 58 have been landed by a Swedish ship. It is believed the balance were drowned. When the rescue ship picked them up, the survivors were suffering from immersion.
