TWO WEEKS' PRISON
Charged with being drunk in Newmarket on Friday, using obscene language and assaulting a, tramway inspector, a labourer, Stephen Cooney, n<;ed 12, appeared in the Police Court on Saturday morning before Mr. J. Morling, B.M. Accused stated that ho could remember none of the incidents with which he was charged. He was sentenced to two weeks' imprisonment on the chnrge of using obscene language, and was convicted and discharged on the others.
