(Supplied by the Council of Christian Congregations,) Text..—Our Lord Jesus Christ said: "In whatsoever employments 1 may surprise. you, in these also will I judge you." (Unwritten saying of Christ.) Watch therefore for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. Matt. xxiv. ■l3. Prayer.—o Thou who hast foretold that Thou wilt return to judgement in an hour that we are not aware of; grant us grace to watch and pray always that whether Thou shalt come at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowiug, or in the morning, Thou inayst find us in the number of those servants who shall be blessed for watching for their Lord. Amen.
