FAREWELL CEREMONIES The Governor-General, Viscount Galwav. and Ladv Gal way, who have been paying farewell ■ visits to Hastings, Napier and Gishorne. arrived in Auckland on Saturday and have gone into residence at Government House. Three functions in honour of Their Excellencies will be held in the Auckland Province this week. They will be farewelled by the Maoris of the Waiknto at Ngaruawahia to-day, by the people of Auckland on Wednesday night and bv the residents of Hamilton on Thursday. King Koroki will present His Excellency with an address at Ngaruawahia. and also with a message of loyalty and affection for the King. At Auckland, the Mayor, Sir Ernest Davis will present Their Excellencies with an illuminated address from Auckland local bodies.
