FORTUNATE ESCAPE
THREE MEN IN TRUCK TREE ARRESTS FALL [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] WELLINGTON, Tuesday Three men in a light truck had a fortunate escape on the W ainui-o-mata Hill road this morning. The truck was being driven down the hill when it met a vehicle going in tho opposite direction. In endeavouring to avoid a collision the truck went over a steep bank, but fortunately was caught in the top of a tree and the three men climbed down without injury. The truck was towed back on to the road and was driven away under its own power.
