Mount Albert. —The club held a race from Chrjstchureh in heavy weather conditions. "Results: —Mr. G. Devereux's blk c c. Final Leave. SS3 yards per minute, 1; Mr. H. Rowan's b c p c Tarzan, SSI yds, 2; Mr. D. Ryan's b c. p c Master Nestor, S6syds, 3. Cornwall. —The club held a race from Mnrtoii. Results:—Mr. Baxter's b b c. Heather Prince. 1223.2 yards per minute, 1; Mr. RoweVs b b p c Nightbeam, 1223.1yd5. 2: Mr. Porter's b c p c No. 01, 1222 yds, :i. Mr. Rowe won first prize for nominated birds. Avondale.—The club held its yearling championship race front Levin. Results:— Mr. J. Lincoln's b c c No. 13, 1; Mr. B. Norris* b c c No. 23. 2: Mr. A. Jackson s b c, c No. J2. 3. Northern. —Christchureh race for Davies Shield: G. Robinson's Kingfisher Gay. 1: W. Donaldson's Night Out, 2; Royal left's Royal King. 3; Watt and Reed's Gay Crusader, -t. Combined Clubs' Timaru Race: F. Sisson's Beau Pere was the only bird to home within the time limit, and takes the whole prizo money, £2O (the largest amount yet competed for in a pigeon race in Auckland).
