CAR CONVERTED
TWO YOUTHS FINED The unlawful conversion of a motorcar valued at £l6O, the property of Thomas Wong Doo, was admitted by two youths, James lan Palmer, motor driver, aged 17, and Ralph Allan Matthews, pressor, aged 18, before Mr. C. R. Orr Walker, S.M., in the Police Court yesterday. Mr. Ackins appeared for both accused. Remarking that the offence must be stopped, the magistrate fined each accused £lO and costs, 10s, the. fines to be paid at the rate of 15s a week. Both arc to be under the supervision of the probation officer until the fines are paid.
