The sale was effected through the agency of Wright, Stephenson and Company, Limited, who have also sold on account of Mr. K. Austin, ICaiapoi, the two-year-old colt by Foxbridtfo from Lovo Story, by ]?omeo, to the Hon Eliot JR. Davis. The English stallion Tweed IT. arrived at Auckland yesterday morning on consignment to Mr. W. Hoskiiifr, Wainkn. Tweed IT. is a brown horse of medium size and nice balance, with a good, strong head, and altogether a pleasing individual. ITe is by the French sire Hotweed, who won over 2,000,000 francs, and is half-brother to the Ascot Gold Vaso winner Foxglove 11.
