Heading the cast are Clive Brook, Judy Campbell, John Clements and Edward Chapman. St. James' Theatre. —Bright and sophisticated comedy typical of the two leading players, Myrna Loy and William Powell, is provided in the film "L Love You Again," which is to be shown to-day at St. James' Theatre. Century Theatre. —Remarkable for its polish and charm, exemplified above nil by the beautiful actress Zorina who has the leading part, "I Was An Adventuress" should again prove a very popular attraction at the Century Theatre to-day. The former ballerina appears as a glamorous member of a confidence sang whose whole outlook is suddenly changed when she falls in love \ with one of her victims. Ricliard Greene has the latter role, while a fine supporting cast - includes Erich von Stroheim and Peter Lorre. The programme is completed by a series of films dealing with aspects of the war in Europe. These will also be shown at a special session at I p.m. Embassy Theatre. The stirring human drama "The Way of All Flesh" will be presented at the Embassy J Theatre to-day. The story of the suffering of a bank cashier caused by one fatal mistake gives Akini Tamiroff! almost, unlimited opportunity to dis- j play his remarkable talent for char-' aetcr acting, ami lie interprets his role j | with a sincerity and conviction which j ' presents a very real personality to the! ! audience. Noteworthy performances are ; also given by Gladys George and "Muriel Angelus. A blend of comedy, romance and drama make excellent entertainment of the topical film "Night Train ■ to Munich," which will he the next at- ! traction at the theatre. Oxford, Avon Theatres. —One of the ! most moving pictures shown in Auckland for some time, "Mv Son. My Son!" will continue its season at the Oxford and 'Avon Theatres to-day. Brian Alierne, Louis llayward and Madeleine Carroll arc the principals. Strand Theatre. —Humorous songs add to the entertainment in the comedy "Gunner George," which will again be shown at the Strand Theatre to-day. In the title role, the clever English comedian George Formby gives one of his best performances. Tivoli Theatre.—Edward G. Robinson has the leading part in the entertaining film "A Slight Case of Murder." which will be shown with "Men Are Such Fools" on the guest-i'iight programme at the Tivoli Theatre tonight. State Theatre. —The fine young actor ; Mickey Roonev has the main role in "Young Tom Edison." which will be shown at the State Theatre again tonight. A special matinee will be held : at 1.30 p.m.
