PIRATE SHIP CARNIVAL
The enjoyable old-time carnival programme attracted a large number of people, including town visitors, to the weekly dance at the Pirate Ship Cabaret at Milford on Saturday night. Both decks wore thronged with dancers and all cubicle space was taken. The latest swing melodies, interspersed with a few familiar airs, were played by the cabaret orchestra of six instruments, and there were repeated demands for encores.
