CALLED IN BALLOT

Sir, —All my family, consisting of three sons (the eldest has been a cripple since 1933) have been called up in this ballot. My wife and I are far from able, at our time of life, to milk over 100 cows and look after over GOO acres and a big mob of sheep. L was one of "Rill Massev's" soldiers in the last war, and .1 know, all about what is termed the "fairest way," therefore I know unless I kick we will not get a fair deal. I know of no case parallel with mine, and a "wag" suggests 1 get a ticket in "Tatts." When the lads go for examination we cannot do the work, even if they are not passed. A. A. Ricgir.
