Mr. J. P. O'Connor left for the south by the limited express last night. : . Mr. G. M. Smith travelled to Well, iugton last night by the limited express. Mr. A. G. Osborne, M.P., travelled to Wellington last night by the limited express. Mr. W. B. Darlbw has been appointed a member of thes'Waitcmata Licensing Committee. Mr. C. A. Whitney and Mr. J. Q_ Whitney returned on Saturday by train from Wellington. Captain S. C. Raid has been ap. pointed quartermaster at the wahia military camp. Sir Carrick Robertson was a passenger to Sydney by the Mariposa, which left Auckland on Saturday. Senor S. Qniros y Qtiiros, Consul for Panama, left by the Mariposa on Saturday on a visit to Australia. Mr. Justice O'Regan is visiting Ham. ilton, and will preside at a sitting of the Compensation Court to-day. The Hons. J. Alexander, T. Bloodworth, A*. Burns, E. R. Davis, J. E. Duncan and B. Martin, M.L.C.'b, returned from Wellington by the limited express on Saturday. Mr. C. W. Boswell, Mr. P. Carr, Mr F. W. Doidge. Mr. P. K. Paikea, Mr! C. R. Petric, 'Mr. A. S. Richards and Mr. F. W. Schramm, M.IVs. arrived on Saturday by train from Wellington. Mr. Justice Murray-Ay nsley, of Malaya, who has beoft spending a holiday in New Zealand, left with Mrs. Murrav-Aynsley by the Mariposa on Saturday for . .Melbourne, en route to Singapore.
