Frank Morgan's Role
Frank Morgan has gone back to serious dramatic roles. His performance in "The Mortal Storm" has won him much praise from the critics, recalling that before he took up dithering roles he was a capable dramatic actor. M.G.M. were so delighted they are rushing him into another straight dramatic role as. the unscrupulous politician in Fanny Hurst's "Great Laughter." Thus once more proving the near kinship of comedy and tragedy. Readers will recall the art of Chaplin in this respect.
