AUCKLAND TRAVEL CLUB
SEVENTH ANNUAL MEETING ELECTION OF OFFICERS .. Tho seventh nnnuni meeting of the Auckland Travel Club was held yesterday in the Milne and Clioyee Reception Hall. Mrs. Victor Maeky presided. As a mark of appreciation of her work for the club, a shoulder spray was presented to Mrs. Mucky, who later cut the birthday cake. Sprays were also presented to members of the outgoing committee. Garments made by members of the club for patriotic purposes were on display and attracted much interest. Songs were given by Mrs. H. Corbin, for whom Mrs. W. H. Glimmer played the accompaniments. The speaker was Mrs. Clara Adams, of New York, who described the numerous "first flights" she has made. Tho following officers were elected:—President, Mrs. Victor Maeky; vice-presidents, Mrs. .T. T. F. Mitchell' nnd Mrs. C. OrrWnlker; committee, T.ady "Wilson, Mrs. G. Pezaro, Mrs. S. J. Harlmtt, Mrs. H. Corbin Mrs. W. Wright, Mrs. L. Coakle.v, Mrs. H W. Hemingway, Mrs. H. T. Merritt, Mrs. J. Paterson, Mrs. J. MrKcnxie Wilson. Mrs. H. Cohvill. Mrs. F. Penty Mrs. G. E. Anderson, Mrs. A. Cerutty, Miss Ella Walker and Miss G. Bertram.
