POST-WAR ECONOMIES
"Suggestions for a Plan for the PostWar Period." was the subject of an address delivered by Mr. W. S. Lang to the Auckland branch of the
Economic Society. The speaker made frequent reference to the writings of Dr. "Rudolf Steiher, and particularly to bis plea for a threefold division of the body social into a sphere of freedom, a sphere of rights and a sphere of. economics. Five specific proposals were mentioned. the first being the organisation of government on the basis of the threefold division. The four remaining proposals were economic and ,deroted to cnrrencv. credit arid exchange, subsistence, debt, and the ownership of economic enterprises.
